Operation Christmas Child
Our first-ever yearlong collection for Operation Christmas Child (OCC) has been an overwhelming success! Thanks to your generous donations, we have enough items to pack 500 shoeboxes for children in need.
Join us for our 2nd Annual “Eat and Pack” Event on Saturday, November 8th at 5:00 PM as we come together for food, fellowship, and a fun evening of packing shoeboxes!
Fellowship Meal Provided
Suggested Donation: $10 per person to help cover the shipping cost for each shoebox.
Can’t attend? Donations toward shipping are still greatly appreciated.
Sign Up: Please sign up by November 2nd if you plan to attend.
Finally, our Shoebox Dedication Sunday—including both the group-packed and individually packed shoeboxes—will be November 16th.

Backpack Christmas Outreach
Backpacks will be available for purchase in the Gathering Place beginning Sunday, September 21, from 9:30-11:00am (between services) for $5.00 each. Please make checks payable to FBC with "Backpack Ministry" in the memo line. Backpacks are due back by November 9, with a special Backpack Dedication on Sunday, November 2, in both services.

Coat & Jeans Drive
Help us bring warmth and comfort to those in need! We are collecting new or gently used coats and jeans of all sizes to support families affected by Hurricane Helene in western NC and through the WV Appalachian Outreach. Donations may be dropped off at the church through November. For large pickups, please contact Mike McEarl at 919-805-0101.
