The J.O.Y Ministries seeks to glorify God as we minister to the senior adults of First Baptist Church and those in the Morehead City area.  Our senior adults are an essential part of many ministries within our church.  It is our goal to provide ministries for our senior adults to grow spiritually, to enjoy fellowship with one another, to serve others, and to gain more knowledge on topics of interest.  Come and join us on this mission.

Deposit of $75 is due by June 1, 2025.  A $25 late registration fee is added if after June 1. Balance is due by August 1.  If the minumun number of participants (30) is not reached by June 1 you will receive a full refund.  The maximun number is 52.

Seminar on Artificial Intelligence "AI":What is It and How Does it Impact Senior Adults - Thursday, May 8 @ 10:30am
Rev. Charlie Miller, author of the book "AI for Small Churches" will share with us what "AI" is all about and how it can impact senior adults.  This will be held in the Conference Room.  Snacks will be provided.  Please click here to sign up and let us know how many to expect.

Crystal Coast Lady Dinner Cruise - Thursday, June 5 / Departs Beaufort Water Front at 7pm
Join us on this dinner cruise with the Crystal Coast Lady Cruises.  We will depart from the Beaufort Water Front on a 15-mile cruise through Taylor's Creek, spotting wild horses in the Rachel Carson Reserve, explore landmarks like Radio Island and Fort Macon, enjoying panoramic views of Phillips Island and Michael J. Smith Airport.

The menu will be their Southern Homecookin' that includes deep fried chicken (with a special breading), pulled pork, homemade coleslaw, mac & cheese, hushpuppies, sweet & unsweet tea, and a seasonal dessert.

Lunch at Crab Shack in Salter Path - Thursday, July 17 
Join us for a delicious meal and great fellowship at Crab Shack.  We will leaave the church at 10:40am for our reservations at 11am. Click here to sign up before July 9th and be sure to indicate if you are riding on the bus.  

Movie & Ice Cream - Wednesday, August 13 @ 2pm
